The Australian non-profit magazine ‘Third Sector’ recently published an opinion piece from sector heavyweight David Crosbie, urging Australian charities to merge together, instead of compete for the same funding. He argues the necessity for hundreds of charities to be dissolved or merged to stop not-for-profits cannibalising each other in the AUD $105 billion a year industry.
